GCSE/iGCSE English (Language and Literature)


To achieve your GCSE/iGCSE English Language and Literature qualifications, you will sit multiple exam papers, and you may also have to take a speaking test (depending on specification). The exam dates for GCSE/iGCSE Language and Literature in the summer of 2021 are TBC.

For the Language exams papers, you will need experience of writing for a variety of purposes and lots of comprehension practice for various styles of texts. Furthermore, for your final exams you should have an appreciation of the language, structure and form that writers use and context, if applicable, when it comes to Literature .

Here, they will find resource packs that map the specifications closely and, alongside course content, they contain knowledge checks, exam style questions and mark schemes.
